For the ÖSD Certificate B2 exam, participants should be able to express themselves clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics and to hold a normal conversation with native speakers spontaneously and fluently. With this examination, learners of German can demonstrate linguistic competence in communication situations that go beyond the private sphere into the (semi)public and, in some cases, professional sphere. ÖSD Certificate B2 is designed for learners aged 16 and over and is offered in a variant for young people aged 14 and over (= ÖSD Certificate B2 / Teenagers) and in Austria as a variant for migrants (= ÖSD Certificate B2 / Austria).
